There is one, there is one

One who sings, sings the song

Sings the song of his own life
Finding everything
Everything within himself

There is one…
There is the one song of the one waffle left on the one plate
in front of the two people with the two mouths who want to
make that one waffle part of their own lives.
This is when we reach across the us and them
This is why we were taught to share.
We all understand the one waffle is a metaphor for
our one everything, don’t we?
There is one…

There is one, there is one

One who leaves the circle

Leaves the circle of herself

And sings the song of her people
Sings the song of her people

There is one…
There is one love for you in this world
Keep looking, you fill find them and
if you already have then you know
the multitudes possible within one
better than anyone. Yours is the one circle
they point to as example.
The one that keeps getting bigger
The one that automatically includes us
There is one…

Yai da dai…

There is one, there is one

One whose voice rings with the song

With the song of humanity

Hoping for highest perfection

Hoping for highest perfection

There is one…
There is that one thing you keep doing wrong
Sometimes by mistake and sometimes
well aware of what you’re doing.
There’s that one perfect you strive for
but keep jumping away from
on your way up.
It’s okay – Not every ladder leads to heaven.
You’ll get to the top of the one that does.
Keep climbing.
There is one.

Yai da dai…

There is One, there is One

One who rises even higher

Uniting with all creatures, with all worlds

Filling the universe with song

Filling the universe with Song

There is one…

I’ve been wondering how many songs it would take
to fill the universe. All of my learning has taught me
the universe is infinite, and when you get to the end of that
there’s still more.

I wonder if that’s what the musicians have been doing
this whole time. Filling every inch of all the endless space
with song – so every breath anyone took filled them with music.

Or maybe, if every voice got involved, we would
just need one song. One infinite song.
Filling all the space. Filling the universe with song.
There is one…

Yai da dai…
