For I know your rebellious spirit and your stubbornness. Even while I am still alive with you today, you are rebelling against God, so you will surely rebel after my death!

I’m a rebel myself.
When people tell me
I should really breathe

I say no, no – I get my
oxygen in my own way.
We had a Chinese-themed

wedding so I could
get out of wearing a tie.
When people say they

want to have a Zoom I tell them
I can’t because I died and took
all the electricity with me.

So Moses is not wrong
predicting we would rebel.
Put three of my ancestors

in a restaurant, and at least
four of them will want to
speak with the manager.

The rebel with a twinkle in
their eye is endearing. You want
to hang out with that one.

But sometimes being one with
the flow is better. Or all the time if
you’ve listened to the consequences.

The ink is still drying on this Torah.
You don’t want to write it off
before Moses sings his song and

we carry it across the river.
