Come, come all of you, come all of us
and bless the one who blesses

Yes, come everyone
your tired and poor, of course
your huddlers, your masses
Come into this mass.

Let the doors be so wide open
Let’s get rid of the doors altogether

Come singers and writers
come artists. Come those of you
who forgot you were artists.

Come travelers and stay putters
Come Woodstockians and greatest generations
Come even if your generation wasn’t as great.

Come huggers and kissers
Come hand shakers if you prefer.
Come thumbs-uppers and okayers.

Come even if the word makes you giggle.
Come if you laugh at all the wrong times.
Come if they told you stop laughing.
Come, laughing.

Blessed is the blessed one,
blessed is the giver of blessing,
blessed in this moment now,
and every now to come

and every now to come

Yes, come into your safe space
your people of every gender
your people of genders we
haven’t dreamed of yet

Yes come, if you’re wondering
if we mean you, let me assure you
we mean you.

Come if you’re hesitant
come especially if you
think you shouldn’t come
No one belongs more than those
who are afraid they don’t belong.

Come under the angel wings with us
we’re holding them up for you.
It’s okay, it doesn’t weigh any more than feathers.
That’s how easy they made it for us to come.

Now you,
come.

Come, come all of you, come all of us
and bless the one who blesses
