Before electricity
Before gasoline
Before species started to disappear
Before solar panels and A.I.
Before the combustion engine
Before screwdrivers and power drills
Before grocery stores
Before delivery in two days or less
Before the wheel (maybe)
Before museums
Before recorded music
Before buttons and zippers
Before the Honda Civic
Before the golden age of television
Before every name you’ve ever heard
Before almost everything
…………there was love.
